Tasting notes
A wine with an intense golden colour and a concentration revealed by the tears that fall gently down the length of the glass. The bouquet is very complex, with a multitude of aromas, from acacia flower to vanilla, with a delicate touch of lime blossom and honey. The whole is underlined by light smoky and buttery notes. There are also subtle spicy notes that awaken the palate and support a silky, resinous texture. Surprisingly full-bodied, it is particularly well-balanced by fresh, aniseed-flavoured acidity. A hint of bitterness and notes of roasted almonds combine with a long, elegant, saline finish. A wine that can be enjoyed now, but which, thanks to its acidity, complexity and structure, has sublime ageing potential.
